2011 Howl-o-Ween Entertainment & Activities

 

Bring your family, including Fido, and enjoy an afternoon in Oak Meadow Park as you celebrate the arrival of the long awaited fall season!

  • A variety of stage performances including Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix, a magician and Guennadi - a world famous dog and clown show
  • Street performers, a balloon artist and face painters will entertain throughout the day
  • The Foundry Church will have their annual Fall Fest area where kids can enjoy bounce houses, a train ride, laser tag and more
  • A variety of vendors will be out to promote their pet products and services
  • Houston area food trucks will be selling a variety of gourmet, unique and traditional cuisine
  • Competition for viewing and participating from Splash Dogs and Dog Gone Fun Agility
  • High-flying antics from the Houston Canine Frisbee Disc Club at 12:00
  • A Pooch Fashion Show will be at 1 PM with prizes awarded to the top 3 winners.  Maggie Flecknoe with Channel 39 will emcee the show.  Advance registration is now open
  • BINGO will be played in the game tent at 10, 11:30, 12:30, 2:30 and 3:30.  Prizes given to the winners in each round
  • Farmers' market and pumpkin patch to help get you into the spirit of autumn
  • Pumpkin decorating and coloring contest in the kids craft area.  $25 gift card to Toys R' Us to coloring contest winner
  • Most activities will be free of charge, but a few will require a small donation.  All proceeds raised will be donated to our participating animal rescue groups
