Creativity, concessions, bidding wars and — hopefully — generosity are on tap 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 5, in Bridgeland during the Alessandra’s Angels craft show and silent auction.
Held in remembrance of Alessandra Lopez, who lost her battle with melanoma last year at age 2, the public event will raise money for pediatric melanoma research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The show is one of several public events Bridgeland is hosting this year. Included on the calendar are soccer and cooking camps for kids, fly tying and kayaking classes and auditions for “Alice in Wonderland” to be performed in Bridgeland this September.
