With a touch of the hand, the today and the tomorrow of Bridgeland come alive at the community’s newly renovated Welcome Center.
“There is so much already happening in Bridgeland and yet so much still planned for the future that we wanted a captivating way to tell the whole story of our development,” said Peter Houghton, Bridgeland’s vice president of master-planned communities. “The many interactive touch-screens do just that and make the Welcome Center a must-see first stop for anyone shopping the community.”
Visitors are greeted by a warm vignette, with the lobby redecorated as a family room, complete with fireplace, and an updated community events display. A 40-inch plasma touch-screen offers complete information on Bridgeland’s many recreational features, including amenities, trails, parks, lakes and waterways, education and the development’s walkability study. A rotating display of Bridgeland’s Lakeland Activity Center — one of four planned recreation facilities — offers more insight into current amenities, with information on the resort-style facility and the many events hosted there.
