Lakeland Activity Center: Six acres of fun and sun now open.  The Cove:  Located just west of The Shores and includes single family homes as well as patio homes.  Sales began in the Spring of 2008.  The first elementary school site is planned to be built in The Cove and is scheduled to open for the 2010 school year. Lakeland Heights: Edgy New Urbanism style homes slated to open late 2008. Cypress Creek Nature Trail: The first 1.5 miles of the 6 mile nature trail is complete.  First annual Nature Fest is scheduled for September 27-28, 2008 to celebrate the grand opening of this unique trail.
