It’s time to get ready for Bridgeland’s 11th Annual Howl-O-Ween Fest taking place on Saturday, October 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Oak Meadow Park, located at 17730 House Hahl Rd., where fun, food and festivities flourish for families and furry friends! Say that 3 times fast!

Making a big splash is our headline act, Pets Overboard. Wait till you see what Captain Jackie and First Mate Moby have onboard for you! Their fast-paced, action-packed show uses audience participation to help the stars of the show – trained rescue dogs, cats, and even a rat – to search for lost pirate treasure.

Once you’ve found the treasure you can take in other performances, such as a stage show featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog, or the K-9 demonstration, to learn how incredible man’s best friend really is when assisting law enforcement.

Houston Disc Dogs & Dock Diving will also be in attendance. These dogs are livin’ la vida loca traveling the country displaying their high-flying antics to entertain while just havin’ fun. Soon they’ll be right here in Cypress, Texas, performing and showing off for you. During the show, you’ll learn a little about the dogs and their care, but mostly you’ll be amazed at their agility. Between performances, Houston Disc Dogs invites your pet to give dock diving a try.

While the entertainment and most activities are complimentary, a few, like the dog fashion show, will fetch a small fee. All event proceeds will be donated to our participating rescue groups that help find homes for pets in need of love and shelter.

There’s so much more to see and do with a kids’craft area and activity zone, trick-or-treating for kids and pets, face painting, a balloon artist, VR game truck, roaming entertainment, and vendors with pet products and services. Bring your leashed dog for a day of fun in Bridgeland and enjoy the outdoors with friends and neighbors. You’ll be helping to support animal rescue groups, several of whom will be on hand, with pets available for adoption. The adoptions that take place throughout the event are critical to helping pets find their ‘fur-ever’ home.

Food trucks from Bridgeland’s monthly Friday Night Bites will be on hand to cater to event guests and Shaka Power Yoga, one of several fitness studios at Lakeland Village Center, will be teaching us some puppy yoga. For this activity, space is limited and registration is required.

Parking for the event will be permitted in front of the aquatic center at Cy-Ranch High School. Utilize the courtesy shuttles that will run continuously throughout the day. For more information, visit www.bridgeland.com/howlfest.
