Few Custom Homesites, Homes Remain in Bridgeland

First BendCustom home buyers considering a move to Bridgeland currently have few opportunities remaining with only a handful of homesites and homes available in The Reserve at First Bend.

Just four properties are available in the gated neighborhood, an enclave of 20 homesites, all of which border one of the neighborhood’s three lakes. Homesites are generous, up to nearly half an acre.

In addition, Ronny Carroll Custom Homes has one home under construction at 17518 West Bremonds. The 4,503-square-foot, four-bedroom estate is priced in the $780,000s.

Other custom builders in The Reserve at First Bend are Partners in Building and Tommy Bailey Homes. Homes are priced in the high $600,000s to more than $1 million.

Partners in Building is nearing completion of a new model home in the neighborhood, a five-bedroom design at 17506 East Bremonds Bend Court. With 4,796 square feet of living space, the home features a downstairs game room, a separate media room, a study and a formal dining room that connects to the kitchen via a butler’s pantry. An extended covered patio provides space for outdoor entertaining and the four-bay garage caters to the car and hobby enthusiast.

“The model has approximately 1,200 feet of garage space, enough for all the family cars and a workshop,” said Rick Cole, a sales representative with Partners in Building.

The new model home should open by early March.

The Reserve at First Bend is well-located in the 11,400-acre Bridgeland community, near both Lakeland Activity Center’s pool and tennis courts and the Cypress Creek Nature Trail, a wooded trail dotted with interpretive signage. A nearly 1-mile extension of the eventual 6-mile nature trail and an adjacent mountain bike path are expected to open by the first of March.

Named “Developer of the Year” last fall by the Greater Houston Builders Association, Bridgeland is one of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities. Listed among the top 20 developments across the United States, Bridgeland is ranked fourth in Houston.

June,

Bridgeland will have patio homes eventually, but as of now, plans for them have not yet been established. More housing options should be introduced in Bridgeland's community of Hidden Creek, which will debut later this year.
