Marking the grand opening of the first 1.5 miles of the Cypress Creek Nature Trail, Bridgeland, General Growth Properties’ 11,400-acre master-planned community in Cypress, Texas, is hosting its first annual Nature Fest, September 27-28, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The Cypress Creek Nature Trail is set along the historic Cypress Creek Corridor, a 1,000-acre nature area and creek system bordering the northern edge of the Bridgeland community. When complete, the six-mile Cypress Creek Nature Trail will feature a mix of pathways, with sidewalks leading to a main trail of decomposed granite. A series of secondary trails composed of rustic wood chips will weave through more densely wooded areas.
