Bridgeland’s new model home park is officially welcoming buyers with the debut of two Perry Homes models that opened in November.

Perry is building on 60-foot and 70-foot homesites in Bridgeland and has opened models to highlight each product. The 60-foot model, Plan 2942, is a one-story home at 12515 Cove Springs Drive with four bedrooms and three full baths. The home showcases Perry’s standard features, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a ceramic tile backsplash. Perry builds from the $270,000s in the 60-foot neighborhood, with homes ranging from 2,500 square feet to more than 3,300 square feet.

After receiving the keys to a new home in Bridgeland in late August, wounded war veteran Capt. Daniel Moran, USMC (Ret.), and his family were treated to another surprise in November, courtesy of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Boy Scouts are teaming up with HelpingaHero.org to partially landscape several homes awarded through the HelpingaHero.org Home Program. Local Scouts from the Sam Houston Area Council transformed Moran’s back patio with a variety of plants and shrubs on Nov. 10, the 234th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Marine Corps and the day before Veteran’s Day.
