Bridgeland’s custom home program is gaining visibility, as work continues on one home and begins on a second in The Reserve at First Bend, an elite gated enclave within the 11,400-acre master-planned community in Cypress.

Ronny Carroll Custom Homes, one of three custom builders to offer designs in the neighborhood, has begun work on a 4,402-square-foot home at 17519 West Bremonds Bend Court. Highlights of the home, priced at $689,900, include a stucco elevation, three-car garage with work space, dual stairs, separate closets in the master suite, and an upstairs game room opening to a covered balcony. A 14- by 26-foot unfinished bonus areas adds flexibility to the design. With an estimated spring completion, the home offers buyers ample time to make interior selections and modifications.

Residents of the northwest community of Bridgeland will soon have another amenity to enjoy, as the first 1.5 miles of the Cypress Creek Trail is nearly open.

The six-mile Cypress Creek Trail is set along the historic Cypress Creek Corridor, a 1,000-acre nature area and creek system bordering the northern edge of the Bridgeland community. The trail will feature a mix of pathways, with sidewalks leading to the main trail, which features decomposed granite. A series of secondary trails composed of rustic wood chips will weave through more densely wooded areas.

A world of fun is just a click away and a step outside in the Cypress community of Bridgeland, which offers a full slate of monthly activities and a natural landscape that invites outdoor living.

Residents stay updated on the more than 75 monthly classes and events at http://www.bridgelandlife.com/, a community Web site that provides detailed information on myriad happenings around Bridgeland.
