The Bridgeland community’s already impressive model home park is expanding, as two builders increase their programs within the fast-growing Cypress community.
Hallmark Design Homes is introducing the “Classic Series” in Bridgeland —spaciously sized homes to accommodate large families. “Classic Series” homes will range in size from 2,800 to 4,600 square feet with expansive rooms, featuring four or five bedrooms, game rooms, media rooms and walk-in closets in secondary bedrooms. Several customizing options are available, including an option for a second master suite. These homes are being built in the new community of First Bend in the neighborhood of Meadow Bend.
Highland Homes, another current Bridgeland builder, is introducing a new series of upgraded design homes ranging from 2,091 to 3,072 square feet priced from the $180,000s to the $240,000s. Many of the homesites will have expansive lake views within the new First Bend neighborhood of Shady Bend.
Both builders will showcase their new product lines in the Bridgeland community model home park, a convenient stretch of 13 current model homes showcasing the many architectural styles, sizes and price ranges available in the community.
The model home park overlooks Cypress Lake and Shore Park, a four-acre oasis offering open space for games and a covered pavilion for shady picnicking. In addition to highlighting the distinctive housing available within the Bridgeland community, the model home park also showcases several of the “Bridgeland Differences.”
Bridgeland’s master plan is packed full of amenities that set the community apart, including curving streets that minimize traffic and maximize views of lakes and landscaped common areas. Abundant cul-de-sacs and no through streets from one end of the community to the other provide children safe play havens. Elevated homesites allow for terraced front yards and each home’s upgraded landscaping package creates an appealing streetscape. Also, all power lines are underground and meandering lakes and waterways take the place of unsightly drainage ditches.
Eleven production builders offer designs in Bridgeland, with starting prices from the $170,000s to $320,000s. Custom builders include Tommy Bailey Homes, Ronny Carroll Custom Homes and Masterpiece Homes.
Bridgeland is a development of General Growth Properties, Inc., the second-largest U.S.-based publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) in the nation. As owner of Bridgeland and majority owner of The Woodlands, General Growth Properties is one of the largest master-planned community developers in the Houston area.
