Sept. 18 Class in Bridgeland Will Be a Treasure for Young Pirates
Area youngsters have already found treasure with a new event in Bridgeland geared especially for children ages 3 to 7 — “Ahoy Yer Mateys,” set for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sept. 18.
The fun event will help young pirates celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day in true buccaneer fashion at the Lakeland Activity Center. Kids can dress up as pirates, learn pirate lingo, go on a treasure hunt and make pirate flags. Cost is $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents.
