The third community to offer homes in Bridgeland is The Cove. Located just west of The Shores along North Bridgeland Parkway, The Cove will feature even more selections for future residents. The Cove overlooks majestic Cypress Lake, home to many species of water fowl and also features additional smaller lakes to maximize water views for home sites.
In addition to several traditional parks and playgrounds, The Cove will also feature areas that are unique within Bridgeland’s master plan. A central park area will offer one of several open play fields, a playground with equipment for tots and older children and a rain garden with butterfly houses. Bordering the park is an extension of the House-Hahl Trail, with several reforestation planting beds to enhance the area’s landscape. An aromatic garden alongside one of the lakes will provide a fragrant respite, with pleasing plantings such as confederate jasmine, upright rosemary and Mexican bush sage. A formal rose garden also will appeal to the senses, while the lakeside maze garden adds a bit of fun.
Residents will also be pleased to know an Elementary School site will be located in The Cove.
