Parks
& Recreation

A park near every home weaves nature into daily life.

With over 70 parks to date, adventure is around every corner in Bridgeland. Stop and smell the flowers. Follow a butterfly. Embrace nature in creative outdoor spaces, like a rose garden, butterfly garden, Turtle Lane, Maze Park and Rabbit Run. Bridgeland’s greenbelts and common areas have charming playgrounds where neighbors gather and kids play. As the community grows, park pavilions, practice fields and other outdoor spaces will continue to provide spots for connection, celebrations and fun. Go park hopping and explore them all!

Josey Lake Park

The 140-acre Josey Lake Park is a favorite destination for families and neighbors to gather together and commune with nature. Residents can check out a kayak or paddleboat to take out on the 3-mile waterway loop. There’s a sprayground, playground-style zip line, adventure play area, and hammock park for kids. A two-story birding tower with sky-bridge and stationary binoculars provides optimal viewing of local flora and fauna. Interpretative signs along the shoreline walking trails describe the extensive ecosystem and sustainable features within Josey Lake. And a pavilion and event lawn hosts concerts and other community events.
