A new fitness trend is happening. One that focuses on improving range of motion, strength, mobility and stability.  Bridgeland will soon be home to an evolutionary fitness studio, Pvolve.

Pvolve, which stands for personal evolution is a science-based method that utilizes resistance equipment with low-impact functional movement to deliver results. Functional fitness is a type of training where movement is geared toward simulating everyday activities, such as reaching for something on a high shelf or picking up a heavy object. Suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, full-body workouts rev up your metabolism, increase mobility, improve balance, and posture so you can live a better, more functional life.

Franchise owners and Bridgeland residents Jonathan and Nancy Lim wanted to be able to keep up with their three children. Admitting that as they’ve gotten older their fitness goals have changed. “We wanted an alternative to challenge ourselves in a different way that helped maintain flexibility as we go through life, and the Pvolve method provides that modality,” offered Jonathan Lim. “Continuing to be active with our kids is important for our us and our family.”

Rich with amenities both indoors and out, Bridgeland offers residents numerous ways to stay fit while engaging with each other. Pvolve will provide an additional option when choosing a fitness regimen. Class formats include Strength and Sculpt, Progressive Weight Training, Sculpt and Burn, and Mat Definition to deliver clinically proven results. When you can’t get to the studio for in-person classes, Pvolve membership also provides a library of videos to help you reach your fitness goals.

Since moving to Bridgeland three years ago, having the business close to home was a way for the Lims to be more connected with the community. “Lakeland Village has an intimate feel, and we wanted our studio to embody a sense of community,” stated Lim. “Giving people the ability to keep doing the things they love – especially here in Bridgeland with the trails, courts, and accessibility to canoes and kayaks – the Pvolve method is in line with helping you enjoy a healthier life.”

With several new studios popping up across the country and Canada, the Lakeland Village Center location will be one of only five current and upcoming locations in Texas, offering in-person classes. Look for additional updates on membership and the anticipated spring 2025 opening of Pvolve at 10611 Fry Rd Suite 250. For more information email [email protected] or view their website at Pvolve.com.
