Starting the fourth residential village seemed far away back in 2006, when the first family moved into their home in Bridgeland. And 16 years later with more than 6,200 occupied homes and growing each day, that vision is now a reality. Incorporating nature and amenities into daily life are what homebuyers continue to seek – and find – when purchasing a home in Bridgeland, a top-selling master planned community in northwest Houston. This philosophy continues in Creekland Village with the recent announcement that the first homesites are available for purchase from the homebuilder lineup which includes: Beazer Homes, Century Communities, Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Gehan Homes, Lennar, Perry Homes and Westin Homes.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with some of Houston’s top-rated homebuilders who understand the needs of current and future Bridgeland residents,” said Steve Sams, Senior Vice President, MPC Residential for The Howard Hughes Corporation.” Howard Hughes remains deeply committed to creating forward-thinking, environmentally sustainable master planned communities, and Creekland Village will embody that philosophy. As with all our villages, Creekland will embrace the area’s ecology to create a synergistic ecosystem and provide residents with a unique, nature-inspired experience.”

Located west of Grand Parkway and north of Prairieland Village in the northwest quadrant of Bridgeland, Creekland encompasses nearly 2,300 acres and will accommodate approximately 3,000 single-family homes with lot sizes ranging from 28 to 50 feet and homes will start from the $290s. Creekland will also include a village center with approximately 40 acres of future commercial opportunities.

Just as in the other three villages, Creekland will include world-class amenities, creative play parks plenty of green space and waterways, all inspired by neighboring Cypress Creek, to help residents maintain healthy, active lifestyles.

Residents of Creekland will attend schools in Waller ISD, which is highly regarded for its low student-to-teacher ratio and personal approach to learning. Plans for two Waller ISD elementary schools in Prairieland Village will help support the growth of both Prairieland and Creekland Villages. The first elementary school will break ground this spring and is slated to open ahead of the 2024-2025 school year. Bridgeland remains committed to offering diverse educational opportunities and additional options include Cypress Christian School – a highly rated private school in Prairieland for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and Harmony Public Schools –  a charter school to be located in Creekland known for its robust STEM, college and career preparedness programs. Both schools are projected to open in 2025.

The first phase of Bridgeland Central is also underway with the start of Village Green at Bridgeland Central. Upon completion, the 925-acre urban hub will be the leading destination for retail, dining, office, medical, hospitality and entertainment in Northwest Houston. The first phase includes Bridgeland’s first H-E-B as well as restaurants, shops and neighborhood service providers, along with Houston’s first mass timber office, to be built by The Howard Hughes Corporation. City Series Townhomes by Highland Homes are currently selling as the first residences within Bridgeland Central, and Starling at Bridgeland is now leasing and is the first multifamily site located in Bridgeland Central.

Excitement continues to grow as current and future residents look forward to seeing the masterful design and theme of Creekland come to fruition. Additional details about the fourth and final village will be unveiled at the grand opening celebration to be held this spring, when model homes are completed.
