Additional Retailers at Village Green at Bridgeland Central

Best known for its amenity-rich living, the Bridgeland community also offers a growing mix of restaurants, shopping, and services within Bridgeland Central, the 925-acre urban destination. New openings at Village Green at Bridgeland Central – with more on the way – give residents even more options for everything they need, all located close to home.

The newest addition slated to open this fall will be Drybar, a specialized hair salon focusing on blowouts to refresh and refine your look; Recently opened is Starbucks, America’s largest coffeehouse. Opening this spring will be JETSET Pilates, a high-intensity, low-impact reformer workout set to music;  and P. Terry’s Burger Stand, featuring the classic American favorite in a nostalgic.

Owned by Anne Evers, Drybar’s concept offers clients a blowout consisting of a wash, dry and style (no cut, no color) in an energized atmosphere to bring your level of confidence up, so you can walk out feeling bold and beautiful.

The Bridgeland location will be Evers’ sixth location in the Houston area joining River Oaks, Houston Uptown Park, Rice Village, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands. Additional locations include: Downtown Austin, Austin Domain Northside and her first shop in Edina, Minnesota. She chose Bridgeland, in particular, because the area is attractive and the location offers accessibility where people live, work, and shop.

The experience is curated from the time you walk in. Emulating a bar theme, hair styles and products are named after bar drinks, such as a Cosmo, Dirty Martini or an Old Fashioned. The brand colors of yellow, white, gray and black also energize the space along with vibrant music. Also playing are close-captioned movies such as The Devil Wears Prada that help to set the tone for your blow out experience.

After reviewing your choice of style with a consultant, all that remains is to sit back, relax, and enjoy the pampering. Add-ons are available such as extensions and braids, or a defrizz, which is popular in Houston. “It’s a nicely priced hour of self-care,” said Evers. “We want you to leave the shop with swag and confidence. I’m looking forward to serving the Bridgeland community for all the big and small life moments, by bringing confidence through hair.”

Another fitness option, JETSET Pilates is slated to open later this month. The modern Pilates-style workout uses custom-designed reformers and choreography set to curated DJ playlists to give you an extraordinary workout, building strength, flexibility and endurance.

Opening later this spring will be P. Terrys Burger Stand offering all natural burgers made with only fresh ingredients and no hormones or antibiotics. Daily, hand-cut fries made from Idaho potatoes will complement their made-from-scratch baked goods. Wash it all down with freshly squeezed lemonade or a handspun milkshake.
