An amenity-rich place to live, Bridgeland offers numerous spaces for resident use, both inside and out. Recently completed is the renovation of one of Bridgeland’s first amenities, the Lakeland Activity Center. It sits between the Lakeland Village pool complex and the new Lakeland Village Fitness Center, which opened late last year.

The interior has been completely remodeled with all new finishes and technology reflecting today’s modern design aesthetic. The use of gray and white tile and large plank wood flooring makes the spaces warm and comfortable. Residents are offered a variety of spaces to rent to conduct their business, club activities, birthday parties, bridal showers, or any other social event. A new reception area welcomes visitors and directs them to the updated community spaces including three meeting rooms, a game room, an event room and updated restrooms with modern finishes.

The highlight of the renovation is the 1,500 square-foot event hall designed to accommodate a wide variety of events. Surrounded by windows and doors that lead to an expanded exterior patio covered by a state-of-the-art pergola, the patio connects directly to the event hall and a meeting room, enlarging the event spaces. Suitable for use during the day and at night, it’s equipped with ceiling fans and lighting. You also have the option to rent each space independently. A large, full-service kitchen with a pass-through counter allows for efficient meal prep and service. Upgraded with modern appliances and fixtures, it will surely make entertaining at your event an elevated experience.

The Crane Room is perfect for small seminars and gatherings and offers an extra-large TV screen with ports for computer connections to make giving presentations a breeze. Along the side of the room, a coffee bar completes the space with all you’ll need for a successful meeting. The conference room is rectangular and the long conference table comfortably seats 38 and is also equipped with a large TV screen. The Heron Room, the smallest meeting space, will accommodate up to 33 people. Without furniture, but also supported by the most recent technology, this open space is perfect for personalized training, scout meetings or any other small gathering where furniture is not required.

New to the activity center is a game room available for teens and anyone, really, wishing to have a space to hang out with friends. You’ll find a foosball and an air hockey table for fun and friendly competition alongside tables and chairs for playing boardgames, which are located in the storage closet. They range from card games to Trouble, Monopoly and Scrabble. Mahjong sets are also available for groups wanting to play in a communal setting. Access to the park is available from the game room.
