The Wait Is Over! P. Terry’s Burger Stand in Bridgeland Now Open!

The official opening of P. Terry’s Burger Stand took place on April 27 and may have been the best day of the year for Bridgeland and Cypress-area residents. Inspired by the classic stands of the 1950s and 60s, P. Terry’s offers fresh, made-to-order meals in a nostalgic setting.

The healthy fast food concept made with wholesome fresh ingredients featuring America’s favorite comfort food, the hamburger, was started by Kathy and Patrick Terry. Originating in Austin in 2005, the Bridgeland location is now Houston’s fourth location and number 38 in Texas. The simple menu offers breakfast sandwiches while American burgers, chicken burgers and veggie burgers provide options for a mid-day meal or dinner.

From opening to closing, double car lanes and the walk-up window had lines wrapped around the building with patrons waiting for a delicious angus burger with special sauce, hand-cut fries and a tasty hand-spun shake. Patrons didn’t have to wait too long, though. Lines moved swiftly and service was delivered with a welcoming smile. In a recent press release listed on their website, CEO and co-founder Patrick Terry was quoted, saying, “We’re excited to continue growing in the Houston area and to bring P. Terry’s to the Bridgeland community. This location allows us to serve guests in a way that is both convenient and welcoming, whether they’re stopping through the drive-thru or enjoying their meal on-site.”

Easily recognizable by its iconic exterior in a retro shade of aquamarine, P. Terry’s Burger Stand adds to the growing list of dining destinations, in Bridgeland Central joining Crust Pizza Co., Gelato & Co., Jonathan’s the rub,  Starbucks, Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café, and True Texas BBQ from H-E-B Bridgeland.

Voted “America’s Best Burger Chain” by Southern Living, P. Terry’s Burger Stand is open from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. Located in Village Green at Bridgeland Central at 20103 Bridgeland Creek Parkway… it’s definitely worth the wait!
