Bridgeland has two more reasons to celebrate as it was recently named Texas’ Best Overall Community over 600 Acres and as having the Best Showroom/Sales Center by the Texas Association of Builders during its 27th Annual STAR Awards. Traditionally held in Dallas, the event was held virtually this year. The prestigious awards recognize excellence in all areas of the homebuilding industry throughout the state of Texas: builders, developers, remodelers, architects, designers, sales and marketing and construction professionals. Over 614 entries – a record breaking number of submissions – were judged by a panel of industry experts, and on July 23rd, Bridgeland added another two awards to its growing collection.
The prestigious STAR awards come on the heels of being ranked No. 10 on the list for best-selling master planned communities in the nation by RCLCO, a real estate consultant that reports on homebuilding industry trends. Bridgeland was also ranked No. 1 in Texas by RCLCO. The recent sales announcements and notable accolades are an indicator from industry experts that Bridgeland is on a successful path forward.
In addition, Bridgeland was also recognized for the Best Showroom/Sales Center category for the recently renovated Welcome Center. Located at the entrance to the community, the remodeled interior of Bridgeland’s Welcome Center encompasses the feel of a community coffee shop and reflects the same modern design as the homes found at the Model Home Park.
Bridgeland was also a finalist in several marketing categories and for the Best Multifamily Complex category for Lakeside Row The Residences, the luxury for-rent apartments and townhomes offering scenic views of Josey Lake and for several marketing categories.
Sister community The Woodlands Hills was a finalist for several STAR Awards including Best Poolscape for a Community, Best Community Amenity for Founders Park at The Woodland Hills, Best Community Club House for the Activity Center at Founders Park, and Best Direct Mail Piece for Lucy & Gus Dauzat Dog Park Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.
Each of the three properties in The Howard Hughes Corporation’s Texas portfolio, The Woodlands, Bridgeland, and The Woodlands Hills, placed as a finalist in the category for Best Print Ad for its Spring Giving Campaign.
Even through the challenges presented by the global pandemic, Bridgeland continues to experience extraordinary growth largely due to the efforts to highlight successful design and a commitment to residents through attractive amenities, open green spaces, and the promotion of active lifestyles.
Future plans for the development include the start of Prairieland Village, the third of four villages that will comprise Bridgeland, and Bridgeland Central, the centrally located hub of commerce that will include shopping, dining, entertainment, employment and more.
