HOWARD HUGHES PARTICIPATES IN LIGHT IT BLUE CAMPAIGN IN ITS AWARD-WINNING COMMUNITIES – BRIDGELAND, THE WOODLANDS AND THE WOODLANDS HILLS

Blue Lights Show Support for Healthcare and Essential Frontline Personnel

The Howard Hughes Corporation is illuminating its key landmarks blue, nightly, in all three of its award-winning communities in the Greater Houston area – Bridgeland, The Woodlands and The Woodlands Hills.  As part of the country’s Light It Blue campaign, the blue lights honor healthcare professionals and essential front-line workers who are working tirelessly during this COVID-19 pandemic.

“The healthcare professionals and all of those on the frontline are working tirelessly in our communities and in communities around the world during this pandemic,” said Jim Carman, President, Houston Region for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “The blue lights are just one way to honor them. We are standing strong together.”

Blue lights are visible in the following areas –

Bridgeland:

  • Three Bridgeland community entrance signs on Grand Parkway

The Woodlands:

  • Hughes Landing® Band Shell
  • Waterway Square®
  • The Woodlands Waterway® Bridge
  • The Turning Basin on The Woodlands Waterway
  • The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

In The Woodlands, The Howard Hughes Corporation has been working together with The Woodlands Township and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion to light the community blue.

The Woodlands Hills:

  • Entrance to The Woodlands Hills community

The blue lights are being displayed during this current crisis. The Howard Hughes Corporation encourages all residents to show their support with nightly blue lights if possible.
