Each year the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) recognizes developers, builders, Realtors and marketers in the development, homebuilding and remodeling industry at an awards gala known as the PRISM Awards. PRISM stands for Professional Results in Sales and Marketing and winners are selected by a panel of industry experts from around the nation.
In early October, two Houston properties developed by Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. were recognized by industry peers with six PRISM awards. In the Master Planned Community (MPC) categories, Bridgeland was recognized for Landscape Design of the Year and Entrance of the Year, and The Woodlands Hills received an award for the Event of the Year category. In addition, HHCares program was named Charitable Project of the Year. Howard Hughes is also celebrating two team members who were honored at the gala. Martha Gros received the Realtor Relations Professional of the Year award and Nicole Capriotti received the Digital Marketing Specialist of the Year award.
“The PRISM Awards reflect our unwavering commitment to creating vibrant communities that provide an exceptional quality of life, rooted in inclusivity and sustainability,” said Steve Sams, Senior Vice President, MPC Residential for Howard Hughes. “We are proud to see the continued growth within Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills — a testament to Howard Hughes’ master planning expertise and collaboration with leading business partners — recognized by GHBA.”
Landscaping within Bridgeland serves to beautify our community while preserving and protecting natural habitats. This approach earned our community the best MPC Landscape Design award. Bridgeland’s entrance monuments and sculptures off Grand Parkway, Windgrass and Rising Knoll, by artist Konstantin Dimopolous embrace the community’s symbiotic relationship with our natural surroundings and garnered the MPC Entrance of the Year award. Bridgeland is ranked as the sixth top-selling master planned community in the nation and second in Texas. With an emphasis on conserving and enhancing the natural environment, these awards reflect Howard Hughes’ commitment to developing sustainable communities rooted in a respect for their natural environment.
The Woodlands Hills was awarded Event of the Year for Harvest in The Hills. The fourth annual event welcomed a record-breaking 1,200 visitors and residents for a day of model home tours and fall-inspired family-friendly programming that highlights the community’s abundance of nature-inspired amenities.
The Howard Hughes corporate social responsibility initiative HHCares was recognized as the Charitable Project of the Year for supporting over 190 local causes of nonprofit organizations annually through community-focused philanthropy, including financial donations, civic engagement and volunteerism. Most recently, Howard Hughes awarded 30 scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools that serve the communities of The Woodlands, Bridgeland, and The Woodlands Hills.
The Realtor Relations Professional of the Year award was presented to Martha Gros. Recognizing that good communication is essential to successful sales in both communities, Martha ensures Realtors are well informed by giving them the resources they need to help buyers make the best decisions. She conducts tours, lunch-and-learns, utilizes social media, and distributes monthly newsletters with community updates all resulting in greater sales in Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills.
Receiving the Digital Marketing Specialist of the Year award was Nicole Capriotti. Nicole is responsible for maintaining brand identity for three Howard Hughes’ Houston communities that also includes The Woodlands. Her efforts expanded audience growth and incorporate managing websites, blogs, SEO, producing videos and a content calendar that consists of nine social media accounts with an average of 19 posts per week.
The efforts of both Martha and Nicole have contributed to achieving sales goals for the year, reflecting that they are reaching their target audience and supporting the ongoing growth of our Houston communities.
