Bridgeland, one of the top-selling master planned communities in the nation, received two prestigious Landmark Awards from the Houston Business Journal (HBJ). The community was recognized for Wingspan in the Multifamily category and the Chevron Land Acquisition in the Land Deal category. Developed by Howard Hughes, Bridgeland received the Landmark Awards following its recent recognition as Master Planned Community of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.

Wingspan represents Bridgeland’s inaugural build-to-rent residences which are currently available for lease. Wingspan is also the first built-to-rent residences in the portfolio of Howard Hughes. This unique community comprises 263 single-family homes, encompassing attached and detached residences, including stand-alone, casita-style residences, townhomes and duplexes. Chevron U.S.A acquired more than 77 acres in Bridgeland Central, signaling the growth of the 925-acre emerging urban district within the acclaimed master planned community of Bridgeland. This strategic acquisition has contributed to the advancement of commercial development in Bridgeland, solidifying its position of becoming a prominent employment center in the region.
