The grand opening of Creekland Village, Bridgeland’s fourth village, took place on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8. A sunny and breezy weekend with cooler temperatures brought nearly 2,000 visitors who wanted to explore the newest village being built in harmony with nature.

Located on the northwest side of Grand Parkway, Creekland Village will offer the types of world-class amenities you’ve come to expect from Howard Hughes and the Bridgeland community. Residents will enjoy parks, lakes, fishing and an amenity center featured around the theme of creeks. That theme is visible in the village icon: the turtle. Seen on neighborhood monuments as well as address plaques, the turtle is a reminder of the streams and creeks that will be a prominent characteristic in Creekland.

Those searching for a new home have several reasons to find their dream home in Creekland. Between October 1 and November 30, Howard Hughes is offering $5,000 toward the purchase of a new home in Creekland Village. You can use the funds toward closing costs, design center upgrades or as a discount on your new home. Additionally, our top-rated builder partners are also offering incentives at this time, making it the perfect time to buy.

As 54% of Creekland is dedicated to open space, the village is designed around caring for the ecosystems that live here. From the wetlands along the Cypress Creek greenway to woodlands and meadow patches, Creekland Village has a rich biodiversity. Living in Creekland Village, residents will have access to an abundance of open green space and 2.5 miles of the Cypress Creek Nature Trail in Creekland that will connect with 2.6 miles in Lakeland Village. The use of raingardens will help to improve water quality within the wetlands.

Children in Creekland Village will attend schools in Waller Independent School District (WISD). Bridgeland’s first WISD elementary school is under construction now and is located just south of Creekland in Prairieland Village. The recently named campus, Richard T. McReavy Elementary, is slated to open ahead of the 2024-2025 school year. Coming in 2025 will be Harmony Public School, located in the heart of Creekland. An additional school choice will be coming to Bridgeland with Cypress Christian School, located in Prairieland Village, and slated to open in 2025. Bridgeland also offers a variety of on-site choices for early childhood education with Primrose Schools, The Goddard School, and Adventure Kids Playcare, and Kids R Kids, slated to open early next year.
