What could possibly be better than sampling food from all the delicious eateries now filling the storefronts in Bridgeland’s Lakeland Village Center? Sipping some wine with each mouth-watering morsel, should do the trick!

On Saturday, September 21 from 5 PM – 9 PM, Bridgeland will host a sip and stroll event, spiritedly named: Vino at the Village, and is open to the public.

By purchasing a $10 ticket, participants will be able to sample small bites from Lakeland Village Center restaurants, such as Edelweiss, Local Table, Chilosos Taco House, L3 Craft Coffee, Le Macaron, Marble Slab Creamery and additional local retailers. You’ll enjoy sipping wine samples along the center’s streets that complement the flavors of your mini dishes, specially prepared for the event.

An iPhone X is also being raffled off that evening, but in order to qualify for the drawing, you must purchase tickets in advance. It will ensure restaurants prepare enough food for all to enjoy. You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite here.

Proceeds from the evening event will be donated to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation that strives to increase college access through scholarships and provides staff development programs to promote excellence in teaching. To date, the organization has provided nearly $9M in scholarships to Cy-Fair graduates.

Your donation for the evening includes access to all food and wine tastings and will also include fun activities and entertainment for the family. Enjoy live music as you meander through Lakeland Village Center admiring the artwork of a 3-D chalk artist and caricaturist. There will be bounce houses for the kids, a photo booth to memorialize the evening, and fun giveaways.

Vino at the Village is a relaxing way to spend some time outside with friends and neighbors as summer begins to transition into fall. Join us from 5 PM – 9 PM on September 21 for Bridgeland’s Vino at the Village in Lakeland Village Center located at 10519 Fry Rd. Anticipating a large turnout, we encourage residents to walk, but if you intend on driving, please utilize Cy-Ranch High School for additional parking.
